OVERVIEW
This course equips team members of Gymsports Management to develop mentoring skills as an essential part of our Youth Leadership Program. The course duration is 6 months which involves an application, paid completion of

- face to face workshop
- 3- and 6-month group review
- Supervision allowance – for classes where mentoring
CRITERIA AND OBSERVABLE BEHAVIOURS
- Best practice in coaching programs – explains, demonstrates and reinforces expected behaviours, knowledge and skills i.e., is a role model
- Intermediate or higher Coaching Accreditation
- Values learning and has a keen interest to share knowledge and experience with others
- Builds positive relationships with peers and is a team player
- Seeks out opportunities to mentor and coach employees
- Open to learning from anyone and drives individual improvement through self-reflection
- Good communication skills, including the ability to provide constructive feedback and to listen and question
